- Knee and elbow pads, and boots or shoes with non-slip soles, and gloves are recommended.
- No climbing on any unauthorized objects
- No moving any objects on the field.
- No climbing into or through windows.
3. AIRSOFT REPLICAS
- All weapons must pass a chronograph test during registration. Maximum velocity is 420 fps with .20 gram BBs (500 fps Sniper rifles, 100ft minimum). OPFOR/PAP staff members will affix a colored tag (zip tie etc.) to all weapons when they pass the chronograph station.
- Within structures, all weapons must be fired in semi-automatic mode.
- All selector switches on weapons will be placed in the safe position, and all magazine wells will remain empty, and a barrel blocking device MUST be used while outside the field of play.
- ABSOLUTELY NO engagements at less than 15 ft. with rifles or machine guns. Players must transition to semi-automatic upon entering a structure, or transition to a pistol when engaging a player at less than 15 ft.
- Deliberate shots to another players head can be dangerous and is discouraged. Aim for center of mass.
- Firing blindly is not authorized under any circumstance
4. GRENADES
- A grenade is defined as a hand grenade or 40mm BB grenade.
- All hand grenades must be deployed at less than 3 ft. in height, to limit injuries by accidental impact to a person directly. Hand grenades will be deployed using the underhand toss method. The only exception is deploying a grenade through a window. ABSOLUTELY NO overhand throws allowed.
- 40mm BB grenades must be deployed using a launcher.
- All players in a room are eliminated when a grenade is deployed into a room.
5. SPAWN
- Shots to a players equipment, as well as any part of his/her body count as a hit, except for the player’s weapon.
- All players will display that they are eliminated by raising their hands, verbally shouting “HIT” and/or displaying a red “deadrag”
- Spawn points are safe havens for eliminated players. A spawn point may be a building, or any entry point into the field of play. Players may not shoot at a spawn point. Players may only shoot from a spawn point if he or she is redeploying into the field of play. Eliminated players CANNOT shoot back.
- Eliminated players cannot communicate verbally or non-verbally with active players.
- Each scenario will have different redeployment criteria for eliminated players. Pay attention to the redeployment criteria for each scenario.
6. SAFETY ELIMINATION
- The safety elimination or “Bang kill” is used to prevent injury to players at distances closer than 15 ft. Safety elimination is defined as one player killing another player using only their voice.
- A player may call “BANG BANG” if they approach an opposing player within 15 ft. who is not aware of the other players presence. The receiving player must honor the safety kill, declare themselves eliminated and return to his or her spawn point.
- A player may safety kill an entire room. The player must point his or her weapon at each opposing player in the room and call “BANG” for each player. However, an opposing player may counter the attacking player by pointing his or her pistol and calling “BANG BANG” before he or she is killed.
7. MUTUAL ELIMINATIONS
- If 2 players Safety eliminate each other at the same time, it is considered a “Mutual Elimination.” Both players must declare themselves eliminated and return to their designated spawn.
8. RULE VIOLATIONS
- Any player witnessing, or victimized, by a rule violation, will immediately report the violation to the closest OPFOR/PAP Referee.
